X-Men vs. Street Fighter

by CAPCOM
released November 27, 1997
for Sega Saturn

X-Men vs. Street Fighter is arcade perfect, with no loading time what-so-ever and great graphics. Probably one of the main reasons is the 4Meg cartridge it requires to play. Another is that the Saturn was meant mainly for 2D games, and this is a 2D fighting game.

It combines characters from Street Fighter and the characters from X-men (Hence the title of the game), such as Ryu and Wolverine, etc. It's very fast-paced and has a lot of flashes and sounds that make the game more exciting to play, plus tons of moves.

This is a great game to own for any Saturn owner, aside from the few complications, such as the 4meg cart it requires and the fact that it's only Japanese for the Sega Saturn. I haven't played the PlayStation version, but I've heard it's not even half as good as it is for the Saturn.
